SnowHotel is part of the SnowCastle in Kemi, The world`s largest Snowcastle on over 600 m2 area. The SnowCastle has been built every year for 21 years by the Bay of Bothnia. Every Castle has had a different theme. We use seawater to built the Castle, all snow is done by the water of Gulf of Bothnia and the ice is cut from the frozen sea.
The SnowHotel consists of 3 suite rooms, 4 superior rooms, 13 standard and 2 group rooms. In additional we have warm accommodation in Olokolo nests. A nest with transparent ceiling, placed by then frozen sea for northern light observing.
In the SnowCastle area we have a SnowChapel with official ceremonies, a view point and many slides and snow and ice sculptures.
We have SnowRestaurant with seats for 200 guests, Icebar, Restaurant cabinet and a warm café.
The SnowCastle is open to the public every day and the location is also open to film crews.
