Salida (pronounced Sal-eye-da) is located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. With a beautifully rejuvenated historic district, Salida has the air of small-town prosperity and a simpler time gone by.

Beyond the small town charm, Salida is a centre for outdoor sports and the arts. In or near the town you  can find kayaking competitions on the Arkansas River, snow skiing on Monarch Mountain, and an impressive diversity of boutiques, and galleries and antique stores. The city has a new aquatic center.

Salida is a 3 hour drive from Denver, the main production service centre where crew and equipment are based.
