Farellones
Farellones is a village and ski resort nestled in a valley in the Andes Mountains close to other ski areas such as Valle Nevado, El Colorado and La Parva. Farellones currently has only a few ski runs but its cable car system provides access to nearby El Colorado. Between the two, the ski area has a total of 62 runs. Founded in the 1930’s the village is predominately wooden cabins, giving it a unique look.
Farellones is located a 1 hour drive (36km) from Santiago in Chile. It is a great option for Northern Hemisphere productions looking for opposite season snow looks, close to a major film production centre.
